Introduction
Tracker is looking for an experienced and results-driven Fitment Centre Support Manager to provide operational leadership and support across our national Fitment Centre network. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, compliance, financial governance, people leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring Fitment Centres operate efficiently, meet service standards, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Job description

Key Responsibility
 
Operational Service Centre Support
  • Provide end-to-end operational oversight of Fitment Centre support activities.
  • Manage Fitment Centre and technician onboarding, training, vetting, and compliance processes.
  • Oversee contract administration, renewals, and approvals.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for Fitment Centre support queries.
  • Monitor performance through scorecards, SLAs, and quality measures.
  • Ensure efficient service request allocation, tracking, and resolution.
  • Conduct site visits and audits to assess operational readiness and compliance.
  • Drive Fitment Centre engagement, satisfaction, and retention initiatives.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead operational improvement projects and service enhancement initiatives.
  • Implement and optimise CRM and ticketing platforms.
  • Analyse operational trends and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Drive automation of onboarding, compliance, and reporting processes.
  • Support technology and telematics-related business initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate operational review meetings and performance discussions.
  • Ensure adherence to Tracker's operational, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and business insights.
  • Manage escalation processes and partner performance reviews.
People Leadership
  • Lead and develop the Installation Support team.
  • Promote a customer-focused, high-performance culture.
  • Conduct coaching, performance management, and employee development activities.
  • Support workforce planning and resource optimisation.
Financial Management
  • Manage operational expenditure and monitor budget performance.
  • Support OPEX and CAPEX planning processes.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor overtime, procurement, and operational costs.
 
Governance & Compliance
 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain audit trails, documentation, and operational controls.
  • Conduct risk assessments and compliance reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to POPIA and information security standards.
  • Support alignment with recognised quality and governance frameworks.

Minimum requirements

  • Essential: Matric (NQF 4)
  • Essential: National Diploma in Operations Management, Business Administration or related field (NQF 5)
  • Essential: PSIRA registration – Minimum Grade C
  • Desirable: National Diploma in Operations Management, Business Administration or related field(NQF 6)
  • Desirable: Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or similar)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Operations, Service Delivery, or Administrative Support.
  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience withing tracking operations, service delivery, or administrative management environments.
  • Experience within automotive services, telematics, or field service environments.
  •  Strong understanding of Tracker products and services.
  • Experience leading the implementation of new systems and technologies
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and operational projects.
  • Experience identifying training and development needs within operational environments.
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex business and operational challenges
  • Computer Literate (MS Office and Outlook)
  • Valid South African Driver’s licence
