Job description

  •      Deliver strategic projects on time, within budget, with the desired functionality, at the defined quality levels in a sustainable way.

  •       Meet best practice criteria in the evaluation and testing of software.

  •       Complete work orders in appropriate timescales.

     ·      Maintaining systems without introducing new defects.

     ·       Enhance systems to support and move to new technologies.

  •        Share knowledge with development and support teams.

     ·      Document systems, including enhancements to facilitate knowledge sharing.

  •        Ensure that time is spent on personal training and development that is aligned with the job profile and requirements.

     ·      Ensure that the best practice development processes and standards are followed.

  •       Effective use of development toolset.        

     ·       Follow department development standards.

    ·       Drive technical excellence and best practices.

    ·       Design scalable, maintainable enterprise solutions.

    ·       Improve development team productivity through mentoring and leadership.

    ·       Reduce technical debt and improve application quality.

    ·       Ensure secure, performant, and reliable applications.

    ·       Influence architectural decisions and technology strategy.

    ·       Deliver business value through robust, efficient software solutions.

Minimum requirements

  • Relevant degree, diploma
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in an Intermediate Developer role.
  • 4 years of C# development experience.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale applications.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in C#, .NET Core, WCF and Web API required.
  • Experience in Angular 16 and above would be advantageous 

·       Experience with MS Team Foundation Server (TFS) would be advantageous 

·       Experience in SQL Server 2018, including: 

o        Relational database design 

o        Extensive and complex SQL queries 

o        Experience in SQL Reporting Services advantageous 

·       Multi-threaded and parallel development experience advantageous. 

·       Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience beneficial. 

·       Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) designation is advantage  

·       Exposure to good coding standard practices and source code configuration management
