Introduction
Tracker is seeking a dedicated Law Enforcement Liaison Officer to fulfil the following key functions.
Job description
- Recovery Rate:
- Develop and execute projects to enhance the department's efficiency and effectiveness, meeting agreed targets and standards.
- Conduct physical tracking and recovery of all incidents reported to Tracker, including activations and verifications.
- Liaison:
- Collaborate with relevant Law Enforcement and private security members following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Ensure SAPS/Tracker structures are up to date.
- Conduct visits to provinces, units, and stations.
- Administration:
- Ensure timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly shift reports.
- VTT Installation Process:
- Oversee inspection, deployment, and capacity planning.
Minimum requirements
- Minimum Matric (Grade 12) or related qualification at NQF Level 4.
- Candidates for this position must have at least five years of experience in law enforcement, with specific experience working in organizations such as SAPS, Metro Police, SVR industry, or Private security as an armed reaction officer.
- Strong understanding of Criminal Law and the Criminal Procedure Act is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel and work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as per the approved roster.
- Ready to perform planned and unplanned standby duties as required.
- Possess a valid Driver's license.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy is essential.
