Introduction
To be responsible for developing, implementing and managing integrated digital marketing campaigns (from conception to conclusion) together with the Marketing Team and supporting stakeholders, that promote Tracker’s products and services in the direct channel chiefly. To make a positive contribution towards enhancing brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic in order to acquire quality leads and customers.
Job description

1. Stakeholder Engagement      

·      Responsible for the setting of relevant and meaningful targets for Digital Marketing and ensuring alignment with Tracker’s overall strategic marketing and sales goals.
·      Contribute towards identifying new market segments and strategies to achieve success.
·      Manage Head Office senior level relationships directly to ensure mutually beneficial working conditions across critical functions such as Sales and Marketing.
·      Ensure close alignment of the Digital Marketing agenda with those of strategic internal stakeholders such as Sales, Product Development etc.
·      Ensure proper external stakeholder management to drive mutually beneficial relationships.
·      Responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the Digital Marketing team.
·      Develop and implement tactical and operational Digital Marketing plans to align to and support the overall organisational and divisional strategic plans.
·      The ability to analyse the current and future needs of the business and to formulate Digital Marketing strategies accordingly.

2. Digital Campaigning   

·      Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
·      Identify up-and-coming digital opportunities to ensure Tracker is in a position to lead the market.
·      Manage Digital Marketing through the consideration and acquisitions funnel.
·      Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies and share with relevant internal stakeholders.
·      Collaborate effectively with agencies and other vendor partners in an effort to implement successful digital campaigns.
·      Monitor the effectiveness of Adwords and PPC campaigns and adjust accordingly.
·      Apply creativity in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate the market.
·      Proactively design, implement and optimise Google Adwords campaigns.

3. Digital Platform Management              

·      Develop strategies that drive customer traffic to the relevant website and result in high quality leads.
·      Responsible for the design, building and maintenance of Tracker’s social media presence.
·      Develop content calendars and maintain the company's digital content on all digital channels.
·      Responsible for the Web/App Custodianship of the website including elements such as content, creative, brand and CI conformity.
·      Responsible for the approval and sign-off of all marketing material relating to the Digital Marketing function.
·      Responsible for driving all SLA / SOP compliance to ensure that all commitments and customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded.


4. Customer Digital Experience

·      Responsible for planning, executing, and measuring experiments and conversion tests.
·      Collaborate with relevant internal teams to create landing pages and optimise user experience.
·      Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
·      Responsible for implementing instrument conversion points and optimising user funnels.
·      Work in conjunction with UX, Developers, Product and Marketing teams to deliver great user experience solutions on web and app platforms.   
·      Responsible for implementing and optimising A/B and multivariate experiments.
·      Responsible for all compliance and risk related functions concerning the Consumer Protection Act and POPI Act within the Digital Marketing sphere.

5. Digital Insights and Innovation    
        
·      Responsible for understanding the dynamics of the digital marketing channel deeply and leveraging those dynamics.
·      Responsible for the measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assessing this performance against the agreed upon goals (ROI and KPIs).
·      Identify trends and insights, optimise spend and performance based on the insights observed.
·      Responsible for evaluating emerging technologies and providing thought leadership and perspectives for adoption where appropriate.
·      Providing subject matter expertise and thought leadership by being the digital go-to person and thought leader within the organisation for both internal and external parties.
·      Responsible for the application and optimisation of all relevant website analytic tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends etc).

6. People Management

·      Management of overall targets, performance management, and assisting with the implementation of optimal customer service standards.
·      Leadership and development of Digital Marketing staff.
·      Constantly maintain a professional environment.
·      Build relationships with key players and stakeholders within Tracker.
·      Apply knowledge, seek assistance, assign resources and apply judgement to resolve problems effectively.
·      Set an example for all staff by living the values and the brand of Tracker.
·      Share best practices, tactics and action plans with the interest of ensuring success across all strategic functions within Tracker.
·      Maintain a continuous focus on improving overall productivity.
·      Prioritise the development and retention of staff.
·      Determine staffing requirements and oversee all personnel processes for the Digital Marketing team, incl. performance management, mentoring, coaching.

Minimum requirements

·      Essential: Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.
·      Desirable: Relevant certifications in Digital Marketing or Social Media fields.
·      Essential: Minimum of 8-10 Years’ experience in a Digital Marketing Manager role, or relevant Marketing Manager role with Digital responsibilities.
·      Desirable: Digital Marketing Agency experience.
·      Desirable: Certifications in Google Adwords and any other relevant social media tools or applications.
·      Desirable: Demonstrated knowledge and application of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends etc).
