Introduction
Tracker requires the services of an Assistant Cook in their canteen based at the Head Office in Johannesburg. This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract position.
Job description
- Prepares and cooks food under the supervision of the Head Cook in the company canteen facilities.
- Serve food to customers/employees
- Notify Head Cook when canteen supplies run out. Stock taking
- Daily cleaning of kitchen, equipment, fridges/ freezers, work surfaces, walls and storeroom, washing of dishes, cutlery and glassware
- Provide good customer service to all customers
Minimum requirements
- Matric/GR 12 advantageous
- Not necessarily a qualified chef.
- Basic literacy and cooking experience preferably restaurant background.
