Introduction
Tracker requires the services of a Mobile Developer (IOS Specialist) reporting to the Lead Developer. The successful candidate will be expected to lead the delivery of IOS Software solutions to achieve customer satisfaction.
Job description

Key roles and responsibilities:
 
  • Meet best practice criteria in the design of smartphone applications and aligned with roadmap
  • Meet best practice criteria in the software development process
  • Follow the system roadmaps and technology strategy
  • Delivering “first time right” applications to the testing team
  • UX design
  • Attending to bugs allocated in a timely manner
  • Regular maintenance of existing systems
  • Development standards followed
  • Implementation / utilization of TFS
  • Preparing any required documentation needed (example CCB)

Minimum requirements

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies required:
 
  • Solid understanding of mobile development architectures.
  • Exposure to good coding standard practices and source code configuration management.
  • Source code control understanding of GIT and GitFlow.
  • Experience using REST and JSON web-services.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or MS Team Foundation Server (TFS) would be advantageous.
  • Good understanding of SOLID principles.
  • Minimum 2 years exclusive experience on iOS development.
  • Solid experience with Swift programming.
  • Exposure to Objective C will be an beneficial.
  • Exposure to Combine and UISwift will be an advantage.

  • Unit testing experience beneficial.
