Tracker is not a technology company or a security company. We are a people company, because great people companies are great service companies.
Our company reputation is embedded in our values which are:
We each take responsibility – for our decisions and actions.
We all live service excellence – by knowing our customers, understanding their needs and delivering on our promises. And never settling for second best.
We all pull together – working as a team, sharing our learnings and communicating clearly – in the knowledge that our efforts and contribution are valued.
We each show respect – respect for our team, our customers and our partners. We respect the environment that sustains us, because driving shouldn’t cost the earth.
We are committed to transformation - we are never arrogant or unfair. And you can count on our honesty.
Lastly, we all make a plan - we are smart thinking and fast acting. Always remaining positive and self-motivated in the knowledge that we have the right to challenge a situation and the right question.
Tracker and the South African Police Service have a long standing relationship and this impacts significantly on how we conduct ourselves. Our culture supports learning and development and hard work is rewarded.
Recruitment is a critical activity, not just for the HR team but also for line managers who are increasingly involved in the selection process. Our recruitment process will differ from role to role. In general it involves a telephonic interview, a selection interview and/or a panel interview, all relevant reference checks as well as a psychometric assessment.
In order for Tracker to achieve its objectives and for us to fulfill our own potential, we the people of Tracker, have devised our own Formula for Success. We have identified the things we need to do more of. And those things that need to be stamped out.
These principles have not been dictated to us by senior management, but have been voted on by employees in our company.
This is our collective dictionary to make sure everyone clearly understands what our formula means.
This is the way we should behave at Tracker to be successful and to be true to our values.
We will measure our performance against our Formula for Success and if we behave according to our formula, we will become more successful. When we sometimes slip up – we will know where and we will have an opportunity to put it right so that this is always a great place to be.
