Job description

·       ·   Preparation, review, analysis, investigation and reporting of Cost of Sales for the group on a monthly, year-to-date, and year-on-year basis against        the prior month/ year and against budget/ forecast

·       Preparation and analysis of Cost of Sales related KPI’s and trends analysis for the group on a monthly, year-to-date, and year-on-year basis against the prior month/ year and against budget/ forecast

·       Preparation, review, analysis, investigation and reporting of Deferred Revenue and Deferred Cost of Sales for the group on a monthly, year-to-date, and year-on-year basis against the prior month/ year and against budget/ forecast

·       Analysis of specific Income Statement and Balance Sheet items will be required from time to time

·       Preparation and analysis of Departmental Management Accounts as well as conducting review meetings with Budget Owners/ Division Heads and providing feedback to Executive Members

·       Preparation, investigation, analysis, and reporting of Annual Budgets and short, medium- and long-term Forecasts

·       Liaising with Budget Owners/ Division Heads/ Executive Members for information to complete Annual Budgets and short, medium- and long-term Forecasts

·       Preparation, investigation, analysis, and completion of the short-term Cash Forecast

·       Support business with costing/ profitability analysis of projects as well as other ad-hoc functions

·       Drive continuous improvement in customer service levels in all areas of the business involved in

·       Provide support to the Management Accountant and FP&A Manager with group reporting elements (financial and non-financial) for the Executive Committee Members and Board of Directors

·       Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations

·       Signatory for payments

 

Minimum requirements

  •          Relevant 3 Year Degree completed (specialising in Accounting/ Management Accounting)
  •          Completed Honours (following the relevant 3 Year Degree) specialising in Accounting/ Management Accounting will be advantageous
  •          Minimum of 5 Years’ post qualification experience in the field of Accounting/ Management Accounting
  •          Strong technical knowledge in fields Management Accounting, Reporting and Forecasting
  •          Advanced MS Excel, Word, and Power Point
  •          Strong command of Rate and Volume variance calculation as well as Process Analysis will be required
  •          Completed/ Signed Off 3 Years Articles would be advantageous
  •          Financial Modelling in MS Excel would be advantageous
